Best Ever workshop...May 2nd

Thought you might like to see some of the cards that we will be making at the "Best Ever" workshop. I used less than half of the Simply Scrappin' Kit to make these 18 cards with only two more cards to make. I have more than enough to make 20 plus more cards or three or four scrapbook pages. Whatcha think?
Oops...forgot to put this one in the pile...
This is the other half that was not used...not touched...Five solid textures card stock, Kiwi Kiss, two Whisper White, Baja Breeze, and Riding Hood Red. Three sheets of the self-adhesive die cuts...
This is the unused portion left...four sheets of pattered paper, and the rest of the self-adhesive die cuts.
Look at what all you can do with these kits.
I hope to have some scrapbook pages available in the next few days as well.
The workshop is May 2nd, 6:00 p.m.. at my house. Workshop fee is $30.00 which includes, light snack, all the above, 20 whisper white cards and access to all of my accessories that you might want to use such as punches, stamps, etc. I need $15.00 on or before April 19th to reserve your spot. You pay the other $15.00 upon arrival of the workshop.
There are only six spots left so if you are interested let me know asap.
Thanks everyone for your support.

Family party for Micah

After a great time in the Word this morning...I started filling out Joshua's graduation announcements. You talk about depressing. I think I am ready for him to get out on his own, then I start reminiscing about his younger years. Man, time goes fast. Words of wisdom...don't sweat the small stuff...enjoy them and who they have become, yes, even if it isn't the dream you planned for your child. God has shown me that my way is not His way and they have to be who they think they are not what I think they should be. Placing them in His hands is one of the hardest things for me to do, as if I could do a better with them...He loves them so much more than I could ever. It's a process for me, not one that I have arrived at just yet either. I am very grateful that He doesn't give up on me and is very patient.
Last night we had our little girls Sweet Sixteen family and friends party. We still have one more to go...her girl/guy scavenger hunt party. Yeah, can't wait...not! We shared a lot of laughter and fun tonight as you will see in some of the pictures. Hope you enjoy...
Micah and her papa posing together...Micah opening her iTune gift cards from her brothers. We gave her one of mommas blue Sapphire and diamond ring after everyone left...that was pretty emotional. She is very proud to have it.
Micah always draw the kids to her...I am sure the camera helped a little too. Look at these two hams.
Gabe and London helped Micah blow out her candles.
Michael just made it to the party...late...Fred had a game that we were not aware was on the schedule so Mike took him and they froze...42 degrees and playing baseball don't go together.

See, my point exactly...TOO much fun at times...haha...love this picture. These guys like attention and they had it.
Tam, Mal, Hannah, and Micah having a pretty serious conversation...I wonder if it is about boys. I will have to get with Tammy on that.

Aunt Shelly saying good bye to us all...
Fred and Aunt Shelly having a little fun with each other before she left. He didn't want in any pictures so she is holding him back to get one. I told him I had to have one of him so that we would know that he was at the party...she may question it one day.

Abby's Spring Break

I received one of the most precious gifts when returning from South Carolina. Our friends the Graham's, kept my sweet little miniature dachshund for the week and made a scrapbook of her eventful week. I was going to pick only a few pictures but could not decide so I am showing you the whole album...enjoy
She overtook someones bed...I wonder who...
Abby met some new friends this week...Nic Nac (top) and Pixie (bottom)...

Duchess and Skittles.
Ahhhh, nibbling on the ear trying to get some attention because grandpa is with Nic Nac.
Watch out Christina she will jump in the middle of you and that bowl. She loves people food.
Look at her stretch out to get her tummy rubbed.

Making herself at home in Andrews lap...thanks Andrew for loving on her for me.
Time for dress up.
Pixie and Abby playing dress up...aren't they cute?
I bet she missed us.
Thank you so much for taking good care of our Abby.
I got to do another page with my Circle Cutter...actually, it was the first page I did but I liked the others better so I wanted to show them to you first.

Me with the love of my life on spring break in Myrtle Beach. Micah used the shaving cream technique to make my birds look marble like...too cute, Micah.

PROM # 1

Ok, a break from South Carolina and beach pictures. Joshua went to the first of the two proms he will be attending this year. Jessie had her prom last night at Brookland. Before going to Jonesboro to eat last night they allowed us to take a few pictures of them...

Jess was sick before going to the prom...she had gotten two shots that day. She was exhausted and here Joshua is taking her out to her car to take her home...she could not drive...no, maybe I should say, he didn't want her to drive so he took her home. It made momma proud to see him take care of her like that. Didn't know he had it in him. He's a good kid.

Until the next post...

Yeah!!!! I got to scrapbook today...

Pretty exciting day for me; Joshua has a college recruiter calling our home for a three way conference call Sunday for an interview to play baseball. Pretty cool, huh? Even if he doesn't get to go, it's still pretty cool to be approached and talk to. Keep your fingers crossed for him.
Finally got to scrapbook some of our Spring Break trip. I used white card stock, sprinkled Brilliant Blue for the background, used my new Circle cutter from Stampin' UP! and here it is...

Beach pictures are alot of fun to play with. It's a good thing because I have many more to do. Off to a ballgame, an unscheduled one by the way, to watch Josh play ball.

Have a blessed day.

More pictures from Spring Break...

Unfortunately, I have lost my SD card so the only pictures of the ocean I have are of what Micah took. Hopefully I will get more because some of them are good for framing. But here goes anyway...

Joshua and Jessie walking on the beach...
Micah enjoying the cold water, I suppose...she does have pretty feet.

Joshua and Jessie again...she took a lot of pictures of them,

Our family

Who knows? Andrew, Kyle, Joshua's best friend, and Joshua on the beach. Do you wonder what they are pointing at? NOTHING...
My babies...Joshua's senior year, Micah turned "Sweet Sixteen" and Andrews along for the ride. He had a great time spending time with his good friend, Dylon. I don't know if we have pictures or not, but those two boys spent every minute they could at Magi Quest.
I love this man. Can't believe how our children have grown so fast right before our eyes. I am very proud of my family and love showing them off to you.
Send more pictures later as I get them.

Long time, no see...

I know I haven't been around in a while. It's harder now to find time to set down at the computer, or maybe I should say I feel guilty if I do because there is still so much to take care of since my mothers death. But today, good-bye guilt. I have cleaned one room in my house, took a friend to the doctor in Jonesboro, met Mike for lunch, went to Wal-Mart and braved the hard rain storm. I think I desire a moment to set and relax and show you a few pictures of our vacation. This is me and my man!!!
We went to Myrtle Beach, SC this spring break with Joshua's baseball team to play some ball. Now before you get jealous...the tempature never got above 71 and the ocean tempature was 56. So we just played in the sand. Watched baseball, shopped, eat real good, and spent time with some friends that joined us this year...Shannon and Misty. Micah received the special treatment this year on this vacation, I guess maybe because it was her 16th birthday and lack of room in our vehicle...so Shannon and Misty adopted her for the week. She rode to S.C. with them and here are a few pictures of there first stop...Stone Mountain.
Misty and Micah
View from the sky tram they rode over the mountain

Ok, my computer crashed when we got back and now it is really messed up. I cannot add anymore pictures to this blog so I guess I will have to send more later...

Momma has gone home to be with the Lord now!

No more pain, halleluia. It is still unreal; I know that it has not yet registered because of all the preparations for the funeral, the visitors and friends hanging out with me to keep me busy, and family being here to visit with. Today is the first day of normal; first baseball game of the season and mom wont be there. Yeah, it's probably going to sink in today. I would covet your prayers today not only for me and my family but also my brother, Bryan.

I will treasure this moment...it was a very happy moment in mothers life...all grand kids present at one time this past Christmas.
