Yippeeeeee

Yippeeeeee...I got to make another card. I actually got the idea from my favorite demonstrators site... www.andreawolford.com ...she has the neatest ideas and I am inspired each time I go to her website. Check her out. I used Whisper White, Chocolate Chip and Pretty in Pink card stock; Embrace Life and Full of Life stamp set; 5/8" Chocolate Chip and 1/4" Pretty in Pink Grosgrain ribbon, Whisper White and Chocolate Chip ink, and Clear Imbossing Powder.

Stamp Camp #2

Another one under my belt and I learn something new each time. Joann, Ginger, Lisa, Vickie, and Misty joined me tonight with a packed schedule to achieve. I don't know what's more enjoyable; stampin' one on one or just hangin' out with friends and stamp. I love it all. Here are a few photos of our hard work...enjoy.

Here are the projects that we made. I hope that you can join us next time.

Father's day box with peanuts, Mini scrapbook, Thank you card, friendship card, and a Bag-o-lope.

Card stock: Blue Bayou, Whisper White, and Chocolate Chip

I hope this inspires you to pull out some card stock and stamp. Have a blessed evening.

A Good Egg

It's almost here...Easter!!! Can you believe how fast this year is already past? I have no kiddos in the house tonight so I thought I would go to bed early, 7:30...well, at 9:00 I get a call on my cell phone from my son checking in, now I can't go back to sleep...so I made a card.
Stamp set: A Good Egg $20.95 on page 30 of Spring/Summer catty
Card stock: Very Vanilla, Bali Breeze Designer Series Paper, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: Summer Sun and Pumpkin Pie used with a blender pen to color in image, Basic Black
Embellishment: Ribbon from Wal-Mart...I ran out of the good stuff, but this works.
Technique on egg shell: Cracked glass technique
Each square is <-3/4"-> square Punch (20 squares)
I cased this card off of Dana Baker who used the quilt pattern with the Embrace Life stamp set on page 84, $23.95. I wish that I had a picture of it...it was beautiful.
Off now to make a Scrapbook page for a workshop at the school for the teachers...I love my job!

Stamp Camp 2-1-08

I finally had my first stamp camp and boy, was it entertaining. I am giving you a sneak peak of a few of the camera shots taken that night. We ate well and stamped fast and furious. This was Debs first time to stamp and of course she kept us laughing, as always.

Lisa A. took her frustrations out on Gingers corner punch...you had to be there. It would not cooperate with her. And yes, she bought her another one. Oh, should I mention here that Stampin' Up sells corner punches that are strong and durable...no the picture you are seeing is not a Stampin' Up punch.
Here is a card we crafted while having fun...

Recipe:

Embrace Life Stamp set

Cardstock-Old Olive, Basic Black, Bali Breeze Designer paper, Real Red, Whisper White
Ink - Basic Black, Real Red, Chocolate Chip

Accessories - Black satin ribbon, Vintage Brads

I don't remember where I got this layout so I can't give credit to whom actually came up with the design. I took the layout and customized it to my liking. You can do the same with your cards. Let me know if I can assist you in anyway.

Until later, Happy Stampin'
