Cruise part 2

I think that the WOW factor was all that was available to do on a boat. I know it sounds strange but there was almost something spiritual about being able to play golf on a boat in the middle of the ocean. Many times I would stop and look at my surroundings and realize that this opportunity was a gift from God. I was enjoying my family time while in the midst of part of His creation that was breath taking. For that, I am very grateful.
After baking in the sun for a bit we decided to show our competitive side with some miniature golf.
ahhhhhh,
Michael is very competitive on the golf course.
I made it through the hole the first try. Ask the others if they did...heehee.
Check out the view from the front of the boat...amazing, nothing but water and sky.
I don't have a clue why Andrew would need to know the direction of the wind, look at my hair. There is nothing but wind. I guess it is just the fact that it looked good and like a pro. Who knows?
No more volleyball court or basketball playing, hello sunbathing.
This is what blew my mind. This is at 9:00 am. My family thought I was bad about laying out. Come to find out, some stayed there throughout the night. To be honest I never thought about it. That would be cool to sleep out on the open waters one night. Might consider that next time.
Yes, this is why I gained 14lbs on the this trip.
Michael and I trying to figure out which excursions to do with the kids. Prices ranged from $39.00 to $305.00 per person. Tomorrow I will show you our adventure,
which was one of the cheapest by the way.
Andrew, Micah, and myself stopped for Michael to take a picture of us on one of the many stair cases. I can honestly say that I never got the hang of where I was at...always lost.
Now, that's a scary thought...Michael and Andrew captains. Andrew plays the part great.
Check out the swan that our cleaning guy made for us. Micah kinda squished it a bit, but you get the picture.
Tomorrow hopefully I will have pictures of our Cozumel experience.
Have a blessed day.

Our cruise vacation, part one

Wow, that was great...the cruise that is.
I took lots of pictures so I am going to just give you a few at a time.

We stopped Wednesday night to get a hotel in Mobile, Alabama so that we would be refreshed and ready for the cruise. Here are a few pictures of the kids resting...well trying to rest until I got the camera out and started taking pictures.
Micah got up early and was ready to go...me and Mike too.
This was the view pulling into the parking garage...sorry about the smears on the picture, there were lots of birds flying around. We boarded the Holiday Cruise ship. It was the first one made, or at least that is what we were told. We heard that it will be retired after this year. Another cruise ship company has purchased it.
Now we get to a few pictures of the boat.
Upon getting on the boat, we were not allowed to go to our rooms yet so we went straight to the buffet line and pigged out. That would set the tone for the rest of the cruise...yep, I gained 14lbs and I rarely was on my rear-end. That tells you how much I ate.
We were able to eat 24/7 , whether it be in one of the dining rooms, this lido deck buffet or room service. If you want to be lazy for a week...take a cruise,
you don't even clear off your table...they do it.
We were one of the first ones on the boat so after eating we chilled out,
while there were not many on the boat.

This is a picture of our room, small, but hey, you could fit a king and a twin in the room and still have room to walk...I was impressed. Lots of storage too.
It didn't take long for Joshua and Kyle to lose us. While touring the cruise ship we stopped and took some pictures of ourselves. You will not see very many pictures of Joshua and Kyle, they left us high and dry.
WOW, they had a volleyball court on the boat. We were impressed until they told us we could not play on it while the ship was moving because of the wind. It could only be played while the ship was docked in Cozumel. Needless to say, Micah didn't get to play :( .
Ahhhhh, look, we found them, enjoying the entertainment going on while the people
were boarding the ship.
This little building was out in the middle of no where. Not sure what it was but we thought it was interesting enough to take a picture.
Now we get some relaxation and sun. Mike is still the color of a lobster, bless his heart.
I will try to blog more pictures tomorrow of the ship and activities we participate in.
