Me...Myself...and I

The kiddos are at D Now (Discipleship Now), Mike has gone fishing with his dad and I am here all alone...yippee! So guess what I have been doing this morning. Yep, you guessed it...making cards. This is not the best picture in the world but I love the card. The embossing looks bad on here but great on the card. It's hard to tell but there are also snowflakes falling from the sky too.

Card stock: Mellow Moss, Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue and Whisper White

Stamp set: Snow Swirled

Ink: Versa Mark (for the tree) Chocolate Brown, and Whisper White Craft

Embellishments: Silver Embossing Powder and Rhinestones

I would rate this card a "2" on a scale of 1 - 5 on complexity. It was pretty simple to make and only took me five minutes once I got the color combination like I liked it. Let me know if you would like to make this for your Christmas Cards and I will let you make a Stack of ten for $15.00.

Now back to the faithful message boards...this is one that I did for a friend to give to a friend. It is magnetic and dry ease. I make these for $25.00, you choose the card stock for the back ground and I do the rest. You design them the way that you want them. If you would like to come to my studio and make one for yourself, you can do so and the cost will be $15.00. Just let me know.

See ya later...off to stamp some more.

Birthday blessings

I have to admit that my 39th birthday was one of my best. I did not work yesterday at the school, I stayed at home and cleaned Fred's room and read a book. I did what I wanted to do and loved it. Michael, mom and the kids took me to Chili's to eat (favorite place). Michael left me and mom at Chili's and told me that I could not come home yet, well this is why...
They had the house decorated...that is mom in the picture...I don't have a clue what she is doing.
Me with my cake, yes, can you believe Michael put 39 candles on that cake.
My momma wanted a picture of me on her lap and I obliged.
I am laughing so hard because the cake set off the fire alarm...yeah, that made me feel great.

No surprise to many, I blew all of them out in one breath!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spit a little on the cake too. HaHa, that's what they get for laughing.

Let me introduce you to my best friends, minus two, Lisa and Tammy, who was at the hospital with her step dad who had been in an automobile accident earlier that day. In the maroon is Amy, then Debbie, and Ginger. I told them no gifts, but they didn't listen. I was over whelmed with the gifts that were given to me last night. These gals have stuck with me through thick and thin and still love me. I could not make it in this harsh world with out them. I love you guys and thanks for making my night the best!!!! You will see Lisa A in another picture...she was not at the house yet.

Here is Lisa A on the couch with Debbie. They were a little late due to doing church ministry, their passion, visiting people who are in the hospital and loving on them. I am a lucky girl to have them (Lisa and John) on my side.

My father in law, Wayne and his wife, Margaret. They were full of political jokes last night which had all of us laughing.

All of the guys, our husbands, eating their cake and ice cream.

I was disappointed that I did not get a picture with my man, but he made this the greatest day ever. He babied me all day and made me feel special. I love you baby.
Thanks every one. I have a blast!!

New comer to stamping

It is so exciting as a demonstrator to have workshops and people fall in love with the techniques that I teach them. Then actually go HOME and make a card from the products that they buy. Don't you love this card that Sherri has made? It is precious and can you tell that embossing is her new best friend. Sherri I love this card and my case it for future work shops....Great Job!!!

Happy Birthday Lisa

So, I've hijacked Lisa's blog...I think she forgot that I have her password...lol!

Anyway, if you stop by here today...be sure and wish her a Happy Birthday!

Lisa, Thank you for being an awesome best friend. You aren't afraid to tell it like it is. You hold me accountable. You wade mud and mire to help a friend out (National Anthem). You loan me jeans when I just can't find anything to wear. You come over in the middle of the night when I need a friend (deployment). You listen when no words are needed. You laugh with me. You inspire me to be better. I love you! And I hope you have an incredible birthday!

Guilt??????????????

It seems to me the only time I don't feel guilty for posting on my blogg is when everyone is out of the house. Thus, here I am. Mike and Joshua are fishing, Micah is babysetting London, and Fred is at a friends house. So it is just me and Abby today.
Ok, so here is what has been happening since the last blogg...

Beverly and I got together and made calendars last week. These calendars are featured in our Holiday Mini catty on the second page. They are so cute and easy. Great gift for parents.

This is a cute, cute card from my upline, Sandi. How cute is that? (oh no!!! did I say that. I have been hanging around Debbie to much if I am saying that.) She is treating me to dinner...candy blood. I will definately case this card for next year. My kids are fighting over the blood. So next year Sandi, you might think about sending three...haha. I only wish that my camera could have taken the picture before the water was spilt on it.

Five more day and I turn a year older and and dear friend sent a card early to make sure I got it for my birthday...Thanks Misty. I love it when friends send me cards that they have made, means more and I will keep these. But beware...I do show these cards on my blog and to my customers for ideas.

This past week was very exciting for Tech Volleyball girls. Micah was trying to get her game face on but I made her smile for the camera. Our girls went farther in State playoffs then ever in school history. We made it to the final four and lost to the defending State Champs...Greenwood. After the game we knew why they were the state champs. Micah is 5'11" but she seemed very short up to those girls.

Before leaving for the tournament Thursday...early in the morning...Joshua was in Dr. Crawfords office having a root canal. Ain't that the way to start the day off. He was miserable throughout the night so Doc. told him to come in first thing.

He loved the Happy Gas. He asked how he could get some for home...ha ha.

Last night was Halloween...my least favorite holiday celebration but Michael was trying to make me laugh...he did a great job. We were part of the clean up crew after the Fall Festival at church and this is what he looked like cleaning. Don't you just love him...I do.

There is so much more to tell but our dryer went out after 17 years (go Sears) and we had to purchase a new one. So guess what I am catching up on today after five days with no dryer.
