Birthday, Aquirium, and Scrapbook pictures

There are so many pictures of the visit to the Aquarium, 117 to be exact, but don't worry, I won't show all of them.
Andrew loves to be entertaining as he tries to pull the sword from the rock...was he able to do it? Nope! Maybe next time Fred.

Joshua and Jessie are trying to pet sting rays...

Ok, Ok! I was scolded by my children because I never have pictures on the blog of just me. So there you have it...Me!
Kyle and Mattie pose for a pictures...
Yes, that's Fred again. Now he is trying to stir the ship to stay on course. You know, that's not really a ship, don't you? lol...You can't hardly see it without me pointing it out but that is Shannon behind him lifting him up to see over the wheel. Or, I think that's what he is doing. Who knows.

Mike trying to get the sharks attention...
and yes, he did. Look at those teeth. This shark from what we could tell, has three rows of teeth...no wonder they tear their prey apart to pieces.
Me and my babies...
Micah posing with and eel...eek, that thing looks nasty.
Shannon is inside the middle of a huge clam...
and inside the aquarium fish tank, or that's what he would like for you to think. Misty gives it away with that pretty smile.
All the kids letting me take a snapshot of them before leaving.
We hit the jackpot at this piercing place. It was called "Jackie's"...she is an R.N. and guarantees no pain with her piercings...
She took Sis in a sterile room. Here she is numbing her nose.
With no pain, she sticks the needle into the nose...
and look at the outcome. Micah has a 14 carat gold, diamond chip in her nose...just like that. Maybe took five minutes if that long.
Bless her heart, she has received a lot of disapproval, to be such a trivial thing, but dad and I think that it looks cute, plus that was not a battle worth fighting in my eyes. You barely even notice it it's so small. My momma was going to take her to have it done on her sixteenth birthday so we went through with it in her honor. Micah, dad and I think you sport it well.
If you attend the "Best Ever" Workshop, these are some of the scrapbook examples that you can copy or of course, use your own imagination...

I just used the remaining pieces to make these pages and I can make many more. I hope to have pictures on them the next time that you see them...
This page definitely looks better when pictures are applied.
Hope you enjoyed the pictures. Have a blessed day.

Family party for Micah

After a great time in the Word this morning...I started filling out Joshua's graduation announcements. You talk about depressing. I think I am ready for him to get out on his own, then I start reminiscing about his younger years. Man, time goes fast. Words of wisdom...don't sweat the small stuff...enjoy them and who they have become, yes, even if it isn't the dream you planned for your child. God has shown me that my way is not His way and they have to be who they think they are not what I think they should be. Placing them in His hands is one of the hardest things for me to do, as if I could do a better with them...He loves them so much more than I could ever. It's a process for me, not one that I have arrived at just yet either. I am very grateful that He doesn't give up on me and is very patient.
Last night we had our little girls Sweet Sixteen family and friends party. We still have one more to go...her girl/guy scavenger hunt party. Yeah, can't wait...not! We shared a lot of laughter and fun tonight as you will see in some of the pictures. Hope you enjoy...
Micah and her papa posing together...Micah opening her iTune gift cards from her brothers. We gave her one of mommas blue Sapphire and diamond ring after everyone left...that was pretty emotional. She is very proud to have it.
Micah always draw the kids to her...I am sure the camera helped a little too. Look at these two hams.
Gabe and London helped Micah blow out her candles.
Michael just made it to the party...late...Fred had a game that we were not aware was on the schedule so Mike took him and they froze...42 degrees and playing baseball don't go together.

See, my point exactly...TOO much fun at times...haha...love this picture. These guys like attention and they had it.
Tam, Mal, Hannah, and Micah having a pretty serious conversation...I wonder if it is about boys. I will have to get with Tammy on that.

Aunt Shelly saying good bye to us all...
Fred and Aunt Shelly having a little fun with each other before she left. He didn't want in any pictures so she is holding him back to get one. I told him I had to have one of him so that we would know that he was at the party...she may question it one day.

Sweet 16 Mal

My best friends daughter turned "Sweet Sixteen" a couple of weeks ago and we celebrated yesterday at Walcott State park with friends. Ok, major decision to make...I have the digital camera and have lots and lots of great pics of the birthday girl and believe me I want to blog them. But started thinking, if it were my child, I would want to be the first to show off the pictures...so I sent pics to mom and will let her blog them. Go to http://www.gingerbales.blogspot.com/ to see the rest. Happy Birthday Mal!!!

I did down load a few though...my kids and friends
Me, Ginger, and Amy raising our kiddos together...we have to lean on each other, this job is hard.

This is Micah getting ready for the big party...

Andrew at the party hiding from the camera...sorry Fred, the cup doesn't hide you well...

Joshua and Sara posing for the camera...he wanted to show her off...

How exciting is this...My mother's sister came in from Garden City Kansas to take mom with her to a spa for three weeks, mom calls it a FAT farm...aren't you jealous...I am!!! So here they are before the spa showing off...

I think that mom is trying to stand up straight here...who knows.

Yes there are some cards to show...Vickie K made these from some of her new stamps. Vicky used the Garden Whimsy stamp set here which is found on page 96 of the Spring /Summer Catty.

Thanks for sharing your creations with me Vickie.
