"Did I do okay, Dad?" No, really, that is what he is asking about this stanze at home plate.
The boys showing off their ground in dirt...let's see if I have as much success with it as Ginger did.

It was a very relaxing and enjoyable time to spend with friends. I am very thankful to call these people my brothers and sisters in Christ and to share my life with them. Many were not there Sunday, but were really missed.

This is a class picture without the teacher...
this one with the teacher. Can you find her? They wanted to do a silly shot so, why not. This is what you have with a group of wild and crazy 5th graders and a cool teacher. OK, here is the serious picture that I am suppose to blog.Oh, Miss Dawn, how we both will miss her. She is his Pace teacher, otherwise known as the Gifted and Talented. He is going to miss her more than anyone because she has been his teacher now for four years straight. They are very close and she loved him like her own. Thanks Miss Dawn.
This is a picture with his favorite cousin, more like a sister, and his Principal, Assistant Principal and Math teacher on the last day. We are very grateful that we did not get to know them very well...ha ha. They loved the kids and had a blast with them. I am very grateful to have been able to work with each these ladies.

This stamp set has 6 stampsin the set and is a Hostess gift for those who have a workshop of $150.00 or more. Check out www.stampinup.com to see the other stamps available.I recieved a tutorial this week on how to make these BAG0LOPES. They are mini gift bags made from envelopes. Lots of fun, great for gift cards, money, candies...use your imagination. I only stamped one side of the bag on the right so that you could see that it was an actual envelope. We will be making these at the Stamp Camp this Friday at my house.
Let me know what you think. You can email me at mtarry@grnco.net and refer to this blog in the subject area. Thanks for taking the time to read my blog. Have a blessed day.

Sometimes you just have to set back and laugh to keep from crying, don't you? This weekend was one of those weekends. On Wednesday, Micah wanted to get a perm. She was paying for it, so therefore, she wanted it NOW. Due to the demand from her, I told her she would have to wait until Friday to get it. We all know that the children had better not demand from the parents. Well, let's just say that I was not the most popular mom those two days. Friday, we did go and get her perm and I must say, Amanda did a great job. Looks very natural. If you live in Paragould, I highly recommend her.
On Saturday, Michael gets a call at 5:00 am to go on a wrecker call with his father. Michael is pulling a truck out from under a bridge when the cable of the wrecker broke and flew across and hit my father in law in the face. If you have never seen wrecker cables, they are about an inch thick. Because of the force, my father in law was knocked out cold first, then fell to the asphalt where his shoulder hit first, then his head. I did not take a picture of the head injury but I will tell you that it was the size of a girls softball. He was non responsive for 4 minutes and Michael thought that he had killed his father. Although Michael had nothing to do with the cable breaking, he was still involved, so therefore, he was blaming himself. It was a very traumatic weekend for us. Michael was not talking to anyone, didn't want to see anyone, or look upon anyone who would ask him what happened. He is still playing it over and over in his head, so he would definitely covet your prayers. My father in law finally got to walk around and he enjoyed the waiting area over his room where he was so confined...so my boys decided to take advantage of his bed and recliner and watched the Cubs play on t.v..Is this not pathetic? I am off to make some cards, just wanted to share these photo's with you.
Have a blessed day in the Lord. Ps. 19:14, May the words of my mouth and the thoughts of my heart be pleasing to you, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Remove all the chipboard...Cover the chip board scraps with paper of choice, I used SU! Bold Bright, Real Red to coordinate with the East Coast Prep Designer Series paper I used yesterday.Notice that I did not use all shapes, only the ones that I needed...And here you have it. I added a few matted pictures, rub-ons, journaling and chip board (at the top, sorry for the glare-reads, friends). I like it. Hope that this inspires you to go "GREEN" and use that chip board peice that you would normally throw away. Contact me if you need assistance or would like to order some chip board products from SU!. The 25% off special with the purchase of $35.00 or more will only last two more weeks.
Have a blessed day.
